Host Your Own Summer Tea Party

Dearest gentle reader, this author is awaiting the release of a certain series’s newest episodes with bated breath…

Okay, now that we got that out of our system, we’re planning a very on-theme watch party for the Regency-era show of the summer. Let’s build a menu with everything from traditional tea party sandwiches to food waste-fighting tea recipes. Prep along with us using these tea party recipes and gather up some drama-loving friends. We’re finishing off with some tea party decor to create a memorable spread for the members of the ton—eh hem, we mean our team.

Pineapple Peel Tea

No tea party menu is complete without, well, tea. Here’s tea we’ll be spilling as soon as those episodes drop—plus, this food-waste fighting recipe uses up your pineapple peels, so you can sip while you snack on some summer fruit.

Crostini with Peas, Ricotta, and Mint

You can’t host a viewing party without themed bites, and for our tea party-centric soiree, we absolutely need some finger food. We’re starting our menu with these ricotta and veggie crostinis, perfect for passing across the couch while you watch along.

6-Minute Jammy Eggs with White Anchovies

It’s easy to transform eggs into a salty, creamy, totally delicious snack. Serve a platter with refreshing cocktails for an all-out aperitivo hour, or save them all for yourself (we won’t tell!).

Soy Marinated Deviled Eggs

Whether you’re a deviled egg enthusiast or not, you can’t deny these lil’ devils brighten up any spread. We upped the flavor a notch by marinating them in soy sauce, adding some salt to our sweet party platter.
