What is Mystery Stone Fruit?
Our Mystery Stone Fruit is a rotating selection of unique peach, plum, apricot, and nectarine varieties sourced from partner farms throughout the season. Depending on what our farm partners are harvesting and what needs a home, you could receive anything from heirloom donut peaches to speckled green plumcots.
Because this program helps us support farmers and reduce waste, you’ll receive one variety per order, chosen based on what’s at peak freshness and ready to ship. It’s part surprise, part summer adventure, and all deliciously sweet ‘n juicy.

Nectapie Donut (Yellow Donut Nectarine)
A little bit of acid is what gives these yellow donuts their slightly tangy flavor. They’re the perfect balance of sweet and tart.
Peach Pie Donut (Heirloom Donut Peach)
These have a delicate flesh and an incredibly sweet taste due to their low acid levels.
Also recognized as a pluot, plumcots are part plum, part apricot with more plum characteristics. Not only do sweet apricot qualities balance out the sour hints from a traditional plum, but each variety has its own distinctive fusion of flavors, size, and color.
