What Are Mystery Mangoes?
Our Mystery Mangoes are a rotating selection of two unique mango varieties sourced from partner farms throughout the season. Depending on what they’re harvesting and what needs a home, you could receive either a Mallika mango or a Nam Dok Mai.
Because this program helps us support farmers and reduce waste, you’ll receive one variety per order, chosen based on what’s at peak freshness and ready to ship. It’s part surprise, part summer adventure, and all delicious.
Mango Varieties You Might Receive
Mallika Mango
The Mallika is a premium Indian hybrid known for its intense sweetness, citrus and melon notes, and deep orange, fiberless flesh.
Nam Dok Mai Mango
The Nam Dok Mai is a golden Thai variety renowned for its elongated, slender shape, intensely honey-sweet flavor, and completely fiberless, silky texture.
Both of these varieties should be left on a counter at room temperature for optimal ripening. Once they’re soft all over, cut into ’em and spoon out the tasty flesh.
