Leftover-Cranberry-Sauce Sour

Turns out the tartness of cranberry sauce just so happens to be the ideal accent to a bright bourbon sour. Whether you’re team canned cran or homemade all the way, we can all get on board with an easy cocktail that uses up the leftovers.

Leftover-Cranberry-Sauce Sour

Ingredients

  • 1 ounce cranberry sauce (fresh or canned)
  • ¾ ounce orange juice
  • ¾ ounce lemon juice
  • ½ ounce simple syrup
  • 2 ounces bourbon
  • 1 egg white
  • Dried orange slice, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add cranberry sauce, orange juice, lemon juice, simple syrup, bourbon, and egg white to a shaker. Dry shake (without ice) for 30 seconds.
  2. Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for another 30 seconds, until the tumbler is very cold.
  3. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a dried orange slice.
