While in the past orders I have been extremely pleased. This one today left me disappointed. It wasn’t up to the standards I have been receiving. Wilting collards and carrots. One yellow squash and one lemon. I order the mischief box. I have ordered the bigger one but it was too much produce for me. Maybe it has something to do with the Coronavirus?

Is it possible to post a recipe on the page you post what goes in the box?
Rutabaga ( which I got many in my box) I’ve never cooked. It would be nice not to go search elsewhere.

Hi Kim, great suggestion! Because all of our boxes vary depending on when they’re delivered and what type of produce we’ve been able to rescue, we can’t always know for sure if every customer will have the same kind of produce so our recipe cards sometimes feel irrelevant. However, we have this handy roundup of turnip recipes you should check out! https://blog.misfitsmarket.com/2019/06/03/what-the-heck-do-i-do-with-this-turnip/

Rutabaga are related to turnips so many of these recipes will work for rutabaga, too. However, you’ve inspired us to write our own list of favorite rutabaga recipes, too! Check back here in the coming weeks for more information. Thanks!

I’ve been sick for about four weeks and self quarantined prior to doing any food shopping (on unemployment). When I received my first misfits box today, I was so surprised it actually came with the significant delays in shipping! I received a wonderful bunch of kale, pears, oranges, apples peppers, potatoes, bunch of celery, green beans… my apologies for no pics yet or if I missed anything, I have to lay back down. Bless you, you don’t know what this means to me. I’m alone, so this is truly special to finally have FRESH Food!!!

I am in the minority in that I don’t like watching videos. I prefer being able to *read* instructions. So I was disappointed that I could only learn the proper way to store cabbage by watching the video. So I’m going to pass this time, and look up how to store cabbage on another website.

But you’re right, there are many ways to serve cabbage. We are a Hawaiian family and we like to stir-fry it with onions & Spam!
