Berry Smoothie with Bonus Grains

Smoothies are an excellent way to sneak in nutrients—and that includes whole grains, too! This one incorporates a healthy dose of granola for some added texture, but you can easily swap in other grains and seeds like cooked quinoa or farro, cereal, or flax seeds.

What you’ll need for a berry smoothie:

  • Raspberries
  • Blueberries
  • Icelandic or Greek yogurt
  • Oat milk
  • Honey or maple syrup
  • Chia seeds
  • Peanut butter
  • Granola

Directions to make a berry smoothie:

  1. Add berries (frozen works, too!), yogurt, milk, maple syrup, chia seeds, and peanut butter to blender and blitz until smooth. 
  2. Add granola and give it another quick blitz, making sure to not blend it entirely. The goal is texture!
