What you’ll need for Bobby Flay’s Caramelized Spice Rub:

  • 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons ancho powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground fennel
  • 1 tablespoon ground mustard
  • 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
  • 1 tablespoon granulated onion 
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Kosher salt

  1. Add all the spices to a small bowl and mix until fully combined. Use immediately, or save in a container with a tight fitting lid until ready to use.
