Another year of weirdly wonderful produce, mighty rescues, and impact you can actually taste.
In 2025, our community helped us rescue millions of pounds of food from going to waste, continue to support more than 60+ local organizations (and countless more through our ongoing partnerships with Feeding America and Sharing Excess), embrace new categories, rediscover the thrill of mystery produce, and helped us champion small makers and farmers while we continue building a better, more sustainable food system.
But we also had a lot of fun along the way. Before we officially close the book on 2025, let’s take a look back at the foods you loved most, the stories you shared, the posts you saved, and the moments that made this year so special.
Millions of Pounds of Food Rescued—It’s What We Do Best
This year, we rescued 27 million pounds of food from waste or lesser outcomes, a milestone that reflects the collective impact of every customer who shops with us.
Over the years, those rescues added up to more than 265 million pounds of food diverted from waste or lesser outcomes, along with billions of gallons of water and millions of pounds of CO₂ emissions avoided.
Supporting Communities Near and Far
This year, we were proud to support dozens of community organizations across the country, including:
- Emergency food donations to people affected by the LA fires
- Sponsoring Sharing Excess’ redistribution efforts at Hunts Point
- Continued support of Feeding America, expanding access to food in communities nationwide
Your orders help make these partnerships possible and help create a future with less food waste and more food access.
